Drivers Using Revoked CI ELD LOGS, CN ELD, KSK ELD, TT ELD 30, and TT ELD 1010 Devices Will Be Placed Out-Of-Service | Show Less

On February 29, 2024, FMCSA removed the below ELDs from the list of registered ELDs due to the companies’ failure to meet the minimum requirements established in 49 CFR part 395, subpart B, appendix A. The period for motor carriers to use paper logs while updating to a new ELD has ended. As of April 29, 2024, safety officials who encounter a driver using the below revoked ELDs, or improperly using paper logs, should cite 395.8(a)(1) and place the driver out-of-service (OOS) in accordance with the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) OOS Criteria.

REVOKED ELDs: FMCSA Removes 10 ELDs from Registered ELDs List | Show Less

FMCSA removed the 10 ELDs below from the list of registered ELDs due to the companies’ failure to meet the minimum requirements established in 49 CFR part 395, subpart B, appendix A.
Motor carriers and drivers using the ELDs above must take the following actions:
If the ELD providers correct all identified deficiencies for their devices, FMCSA will place the ELDs back on the list of registered devices and inform the industry and the field. However, FMCSA strongly encourages motor carriers to take the actions listed above now to avoid compliance issues in the event that these deficiencies are not addressed in time. - Discontinue using the revoked ELDs and revert to paper logs or logging software to record required hours of service data.
- Replace the revoked ELDs with compliant ELDs from the Registered ELDs list before January 30, 2024.
